I think that when people think about AI, they only think about the practical uses of it, but we must also understand the legal and ethical issues that come alongside it. Who do you sue when your AI driven car crashes, the driver, the programmer and designer of the AI, or the company? This is not an actual field of work at the moment, but it will be one in the future as people will start relying more on AI than themselves to get tasks done. We also have to think about the ethics behind AI as they are developed, for example, can AI be racist? We want to say that it could not since it is just a machine, but it actually could have a very good chance of being so if the programmer does not create it with a neutral stance on racism. So the AI is not racist because of its own will, but rather the programmer's personal bias is apparent in the AI. So as the field of AI is growing, we need to make sure that the people working in it must be educated in a political, ethical, and legal manner a…

I was not in class when we learned about AI because I was sick and I thought I was going to die but I am going to give my thought. So as AI advances the world would too because having more technology helps us out in the real world making people lazier. For example my car, my car has a mode where it will help steer if you going out of the lane. With this, it makes me less aware of things giving me the feeling of I don't have to pay attention as much. My grammar might be terrible right now but it's because I am just typing and giving my opinion. Moving on to those AI robots that are being created right now is kind of frightening due to them malfunction and turning on us. (like in the movies). I understand AI can make life easier as in teaching people with disabilities or even treating them but with this, AI will be taking over peoples jobs. For example, taxi drivers will no longer be needed if self-cars can arrive on its own. With AI's technology, the world can be a better o…

250WordStartup.com

StartUp.Com was actually an interesting film, it was cool to see close friends start a company and fall apart. It has really shown the reality and how everything is not easy in life... you may crash. From the beginning, they were all happy to do this and super confident but as the journey goes on they realize how hard this really was. Honestly, their company name was kind of dumb, they had two choices of names and had picked the bad one. Everyone knows the struggle of creating a company is getting money or a startup. Which half of the movie is on about them trying to get investors to believe in their company which actually was a smart idea. As the company starts to get big they become more and more successful but soon to hit a painful wall. Getting robbed had affected their company by a ton. Their company had slowly crumbled down, which caused a serious argument between two best friends. With the argument of not being trustworthy had made one of the owners leave. This causing struggl…

My thoughts on the guest speaker were interesting because I've never met an author who has written so many books. Even learning the steps he had to do in order to just make one book, there are still questions on how he makes the book/print the book. Is there a special printer to print that exact size and its font? Also, I am wondering on if electronic books actually sell more than regular hard copies. Since most things now rely on the technology we have created today to do an everyday task shows how important his job really is. My other thoughts of him are he gave out a lot of information for us to really take in and understand the real world. The amount of job opportunity, and the process of creating companies. It was also more interesting with having someone else teach or speak in front of the class. Another thing was me trying to create questions for him was really hard because they would be answered on the nest slides. I think my view on him is kind of inspiring because althou…

What general topic would I like to report on? I would like to do a report on Cybersecurity because my accounts have been hacked many times and I want to see how they do it. It would also be nice to do research on the different ways to prevent this from happening and the security we have now. When my Snapchat got hacked I had all of these angry replies come in. I think it had to do with something of me calling them fat and that they need to lose weight. Another incident was when my Facebook had gotten hacked. Guessing my password can be almost too impossible, it's so hard that I can forget sometimes. I am not sure if this is supposed to be a serious blog but I like having fun with them, It allows me to just type freely. Back to Cybersecurity, I would like to do a report on this because I feel like we did not go over this topic as much as I wanted to, so I'm getting curious. Plus again getting hacked is not fun, especially when they have control over your private information an…

Where is Journalism going? Journalism is going down hill in todays society and will most likely not come back up. This being because everything is on social media within seconds, while news papers take over a day or so to be released. I mean there are still journalist out there but they won't make as much as they use too since no one buys/reads the paper version. Even books are being sold online, the technology we have now is just increasing the amount of physical copies we don't need. Even magazine pictures are nothing compared to the ones on the web. The webs photos are so accurate and clear that makes is feel so real. Journalism is also going down hill because of the laziness people are getting, instead of flipping pages they are able to just scroll up and down on their devices. When I mean by social media being the new "news", I mean they are the first to post and hear. As one thing pops up you will be able to find the information on what or how it happened in j…

First off I have to make a statement on how challenging this was, there may be directions but I still kept getting confused. I had started off trying on my Macbook but then it really got difficult because I don't know my way around a Mac. Going on my windows computer had made an impact on starting this Web Page using HTML formal. As I went through the steps I kept forgetting to end the document/ closing it off. The most challenging part of this whole assignments is step 7, I just don't know but I couldn't get the web page to have a background color. Now I have to admit, my brother did help me with this homework. As it was very simple for him, I still did not understand making me feel dumb. I kept trying to skip steps that did not make sense to me which continued to make no sense. I had to search up these words that I have never heard or seen of, an example would be a "hex code". This will be a good class to help me learn about the experience of the real world of…
